(MSE). In order to strengthen the credit delivery system and facilitate the flow of credit to the MSE sector, the Ministry of Micro, Small &amp; Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, developed the Credit Guarantee Scheme (CGS) with this goal in mind. The Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises was established by the Government of India and SIDBI to make the programme operational. (CGTMSE).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5519\" src=\"https:\/\/www.caindelhiindia.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Scheme-CGTMES.jpg\" alt=\"Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises\" width=\"958\" height=\"440\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.caindelhiindia.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Scheme-CGTMES.jpg 664w, https:\/\/www.caindelhiindia.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Scheme-CGTMES-300x138.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 958px) 100vw, 958px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ministry of Micro, Small &amp; Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India has enhanced the ceiling of coverage from Rs 200 lakh to Rs 500 lakh per borrower for availing credit guarantee for Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE)\u00a0 Scheme for Micro, Small &amp; Medium Enterprises (MSME) on 31 March 2023.\u00a0 The extent of coverage is for Micro, Small &amp; Medium Enterprises (MSME) including trading activity.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In case of SC\/ST entrepreneurs or Women entrepreneurs or MSE promoted by Agniveers \/ MSEs situated in Aspirational District or Person with Disability (PwD) or ZED certified MSEs:\u00a0 85 percentage (upto INR 500 lakh),\u00a0All other category of borrowers 75 percentage (upto INR 500 lakh),<\/li>\n<li>In case of Micro Enterprise:\u00a0 Maximum extent of Guarantee Coverage: 85 percentage (upto INR 5 lakh), 75 percentage (INR 5 lakh to INR 500 lakh),<\/li>\n<li>In case of MSEs located in NER 75% (incl. Sikkim, UT of Jammu &amp; Kashmir &amp; UT of Ladakh) : 80 percentage (upto INR 50 lakh), 75 percentage (INR 50 lakh to INR 500 lakh),<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE)\u00a0 Scheme Charges (in addition to the interest by the bank)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Slab\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Standard Rate *<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">0-10 lakh\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a00.37 Per annum<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">10-50 lakh\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a00.55 Per annum<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Above 50-1 crore\u00a0 0.60 Per annum<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Above 1-2 crore\u00a0 \u00a0 1.20 Per annum<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Above 2-5 crore\u00a0 \u00a0 1.35 Per annum<\/p>\n<p>All Private sector banks or Public Sector banks provide Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE)\u00a0Scheme as Member lending Institutions (MLIs).<\/p>\n<p>As soon as the credit facilities are approved, the lender should pay for them.
