Statutory Due Date Compliance Calendar for the Month of March 2025 

A citizen must pay taxes on time while adhering to all major tax-related rules & regulations proposed by the government. Timely tax payments help in the smooth functioning of administrative tax collection and ensure economic stability. Income tax and GST Taxpayers can also avoid penalties and fines by adhering to the compliance calendar. Below is a comprehensive Statutory Due Date Compliance calendar for March 2025, outlining key due dates for various statutory taxation obligations:

Income Tax Compliance:

  • March 2, 2025: Due date for furnishing challan-cum-statement for tax deducted under Sections 194-IA, 194-IB, 194M, and 194S in January 2025.

  • March 7, 2025: Last date for deposit of Tax Deducted at Source and Tax Collected at Source for February 2025.

  • March 15, 2025:

    • Due date for the fourth installment of advance tax for the AY 2025-26.
    • Furnishing of Form 24G by an office of the govt where Tax Deducted at Source / Tax Collected at Source for February 2025 has been paid without the production of a challan.
  • March 17, 2025: Issuance of Tax Deducted at Source Certificates for tax deducted under Sections 194-IA, 194-IB, and 194S in January 2025.

  • March 30, 2025: Due date for furnishing challan-cum-statement for tax deducted under Sections 194-IA, 194-IB, 194M, and 194S in February 2025.

  • March 31, 2025:

    • Filing of Country-by-Country Report (CbCR) in Form 3CEAD for the Financial Year 2023-24 by the parent entity or alternate reporting entity in India.
    • Submission of Form 67 for claiming Foreign Tax Credit, if applicable.

Goods and Services Tax (GST) Compliance:

  • March 10, 2025: Filing of GSTR-7 (Tax Deducted at Source under Goods and Services Tax ) and GSTR-8 (TCS under Goods and Services Tax ) for February 2025.

  • March 11, 2025: Filing of GSTR-1 for February 2025 by registered taxpayers.

  • March 20, 2025: Filing of GSTR-3B for February 2025 by all registered taxpayers.

  • March 25, 2025: Payment of Goods and Services Tax via form PMT-06 for taxpayers under the Quarterly Return Monthly Payment (QRMP) scheme for February 2025.

Provident Fund & Employees’ State Insurance Compliance:

  • March 15, 2025: Due date for payment of Provident Fund and Employees’ State Insurance contributions for February 2025.

Professional Tax Compliance:

  • March 10, 2025: Professional Tax (PT) payment due for the states of Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

  • March 15, 2025: PT payment due for the state of Gujarat.

  • March 20, 2025: PT payment due for the state of Karnataka.

  • March 21, 2025: PT payment due for the states of Tripura and West Bengal.

    March 31, 2025: PT payment due for the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam, Maharashtra, and Odisha.

Corporate and Other Compliance:

  • March 31, 2025: Filing of Annual Return for the Financial Year 2023-24 under the Companies Act, 2013.
