Union Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that amendments to the Aadhaar law will be aligned with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, with user interest at the core. The government aims to ensure the Aadhaar framework is harmonised with the provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, which was notified in the Gazette in August 2023.
