E-Way Bill Changes – GSTN Advisory Withdrawn on Compulsory E-Invoice Link w.e.f. 1st March 2024 :
GSTN Advisory on Blocking the E-Way Bill issuing or generation without e-Invoice/ unique Invoice Reference Number (IRN) has been withdrawn. Blocking the E-Way Bill generation without e-Invoice/ unique Invoice Reference Number (IRN) details for B2B and B2E transactions for e-invoice enabled taxpayers will be done w.e.f. from 1-04-2024.
The GSTN Team Emails to Correct GSTR-1 Incorrect information: Know Recommended Solution:
Regarding the correction of the GSTR-1 inaccuracies, the GSTN staff has now contacted the tax filers. The error resolution has been sent by email by the team.
The email resolutions states as follows:
“Dear Taxpayer If you get error message while filing GSTR I, such as ‘Error Preparing data for
filing Please try again later,’ then please follow the steps below: Kindly save your form again by
adding or updating invoices in table 7, Then click on generate summary followed by proceed to
file button, Post validating the data, kindly file your returns.”
When a GST taxpayer or GST filer faces these issues, they should attempt the fix that the GSTN team has suggested above. Additionally, you should check your mail inboxes.
Form GSTR-1 All regular and irregular registered taxpayers who make outward supplies of goods and services, or both, are required to file GSTR-1, a monthly/quarterly Statement of Outward Supplies that includes information on such outward supplies.
